2012 (1-3-2012) Holy Spirit Fire HeartThe Holy Spirit is not restricted in power, presence, or potential. He is God the Holy Spirit, and all the attributes of God apply to Him.

He is not restricted in power. Through Him all things are possible. His power is unlimited. If we are to know His power toward us, we must be open to His guidance. When His anointing comes upon us, He provides power to accomplish our Christian tasks. His power which dwells in us is not ours to use as we please, but it is His to work through us for His own good pleasure.

Hs is not restricted in His presence. He can be everywhere at once. My finite mind cannot comprehend the idea that anyone can be everywhere at the same time, but I believe it. I have experienced His presence under many different circumstances. One of His titles, the Comforter, means one who goes alongside to help. Everyone who is baptized in the Holy Spirit has this constant companion. We are never left alone. He abides with us.

He is not restricted in knowledge. Since He knows all things, He knows our needs and will supply them according to the riches of Christ in glory. He knows all about us and cares for us in every respect. When I was a young adult (about 30 yrs of age), I received the Holy Spirit baptism. From that point on, I’ve experienced so many wonderful spirit miracles in my family, among my friends and in my ministry to others. I’ve experienced the kind of “Love” that only God can give. Prophetic words over the years have brought tremendous encouragement and kept my husband and me in good stead when things were difficult. I know the Holy Spirit has directed my life and He will take me through every difficulty. His power gives assurance. After more than 36 years of ministry, the Holy Spirit still abides with me. His presence in the past gives me hope for my future!

Empowered By The Spirit!

2014 (1-16-2014) Empowered by the Holy Spirit

The challenge, the charge, and especially the call to ministry are all of God. Within himself, a man or a woman is not able to fulfill the requirements of that call. He needs a power greater than his own ~ a power found only in the Holy Spirit.

The spiritually conscientious servant will surrender to the call of God, though it is sometimes with great reluctance and fear that he or she does so. Like Moses, some who are called try to shift the responsibility onto another by explaining to God that the other person is better qualified or more gifted.

But He who calls will also equip those He calls. The Holy Spirit can calm our fears, erase our doubts, and strengthen our commitment to do God’s will and work. How futile it would be to try to carry out the call to ministry without the divine enabling and grace of the Holy Spirit.

I remember when the Lord called my husband and me into full time ministry 36 years ago. As his wife, I was frightened of this calling and commitment. I was young and pregnant at the time with our first child and quite naïve when it came to the work of the Lord. I had no understanding at all of what the challenge, the charge and call to ministry was about …not even a clue! However; it wasn’t long after Dan was called into Full Time Ministry that I understood I was called as well. I had different gifting than my husband but called just the same.  Thus, our Spirit Journey in God began and to this day…we are still ministering as the Lord opens doors in churches, conferences, leadership gatherings and ministry one on one ~ bringing hope, encouragement, deliverance and purpose to life.  I came to truly realize that God never calls you without equipping and anointing you to accomplish His purposes.

We live in a rootless society. If we don’t like our joy or neighborhood, we move to another one. Marital commitments and the stability of the home are undermined. Churches change pastors with the wind. There is little substance to hold together home, church or family.

There are ministers that get caught up in this trend, and many start out well only to abandon their calling after a short while. Ezekiel must have seen his task as one of awesome proportions, but he recognized that the reservoir of God’s power was bigger than his need. When God calls, God provides.

Then, too, there is the fact that Ezekiel was sent by God. He did not choose the task or the way to accomplish it. If we are sensitive to the leading and presence of the Holy Spirit, we can be sure we will be successful in whatever ministry God calls us to.

2014 (1-16-2014) Empowered by the Holy Spirit with a DoveDon’t worry about when or where God calls you. His purpose and timing are always right. The man or woman who honors God by surrendering everything into the hands of the Holy Spirit will always be God’s man or woman for God’s task ~ in God’ time.

My Prayer Today ~ Our Lord, help us to make the best choices by yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to lead, empower, and bless whatever we do for YOU!

You Are Beautiful!

This is the Prophetic Word that God put in my heart for the ladies attending the “Mom 2 Mom – Woman 2 Woman” Retreat at Evergreen Marriott Resort in Stone Mountain, Georgia on Saturday, November 9, 2013. Under the Spirit Led guidance of First Lady Veronica Simon of Christ’s Messengers Christian Fellowship, Snellville, Georgia ~ The Mothers of Virtue Retreat is a place of healing, wholeness and restoration!

Perhaps, you will find hope and encouragement for your own life through this prophetic word.

“Whether or not you see yourself as physically beautiful, all of you who know and love Me share My beauty ~ The beauty of holiness. Stop looking at your inner flaws and imperfections. Stop looking at the circumstances that surround your life. Stop focusing and dwelling on why you can’t be My vessel of love and light to those surrounding your life. Stop the excuses! Let the beauty of the Lord Your God be upon you this day. See yourself as My child and know My love will empower you to do the things you can’t do in the natural. My love is always available to change you and heal you from the inside out. My power and anointing transforms lives.  My love will continue to engulf you as you draw closer to me and hunger to know me more intimately. Inner Beauty is a gift from Me to you ~ a gift won by Jesus himself on Calvary’s cross. This inner beauty is like the facets of a diamond, with each detail adding something to the whole. And, at its heart, “The Beauty of the Lord.” Your beauty comes from the Living God ~ the beauty of the Lord himself! From this point on, Your personal story is changing…it’s My Story for your life…one of Redemption, one of Hope, one of Forgiveness, one of Healing, one of Restoration, one of Purpose and Divine Destiny, Grace and Mercy!” ~

My prayer ~Beautiful Savior, wrap us in your grace today as you remind us of your limitless love. Teach us to trust your assurances that you have made us truly and eternally beautiful. Amen!”

EXPLOSIVE” is the one word that comes to mind about the “Mom 2 Mom – Woman 2 Woman” Retreat this past weekend! And, was it ever. There was such a BUZZ among the ladies as you entered the room where the ministry event was taking place. The BUZZ reached a momentum as the day progressed with each speaker’s ministry bringing everyone right into the presence of the Lord. The love in that room was electrifying! It drew you right into a place of receiving healing, wholeness and restoration.

First Lady Veronica Simon has to be one of the most gracious ladies I have ever known. The love of Jesus just flows from her and her God given gifting reaches out to everyone who comes into her presence.  Veronica’s hugs are contagious in the most wonderful kind of way. She is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and along with her team of ladies who assist ~ they prepared the most beautiful and inviting environment for the Lord to dwell among us at the retreat. With all the preparations and all the prayers over this gathering, God honored us with His Presence, Power and Anointing!

All of the presenters at this year’s retreat were dynamic in their individual callings and anointings. It was like a beautiful tapestry being woven right before our eyes as each speaker stepped into their gifting. There was such a flowing of God’s Spirit as lives were touched and transformed by His power that day. A big heartfelt “Thank You” to all the presenters – First Lady/Pastor Veronica Simon, Lolita McNeal, Judith Fletcher, Dr. Oya Townsley, Pastor Kimberly Moore and me.  This event could not have taken place without all the behind the scenes ladies that assisted to make it all possible and the wonderful ladies who came to receive.

*Each of us are deeply touched by what the Lord did this past weekend and are still walking in the “After Glow.”
